This business calculator is the creation of a seasoned finance professor, holding a Ph.D. in finance, who has also served as an exclusive finance trainer for Apple globally. It significantly enhances the capabilities of traditional time value of money (TVM) calculators by adapting them to more complex real-world financial situations.

In addition to the standard five TVM functions typically found on handheld financial calculators (Present Value, Future Value, Payment, Number of Periods, and Interest Rate), this innovative device introduces two new features: a G-Button (patent pending) for assessing the growth rate of an annuity stream, and an infinity-button (patent pending) designed for analyzing perpetuities where N equals infinity.

The inclusion of the G-Button allows users to tackle real-world scenarios that factor in price inflation. Unlike conventional calculators, this model can evaluate any annuity stream in both real and nominal terms. Transitioning from an annuity-due to a regular annuity is streamlined to a single keystroke instead of the typical six required by other devices.

Distinctively, while most calculators display only one variable at a time, this model showcases all six variables simultaneously, enhancing user understanding as the complete problem remains visible at all times.

The design is user-friendly, eliminating the need for a "2nd" button. It offers ten storage/memory registers (STO-0 to STO-9) to facilitate multi-step calculations. An EEX button simplifies the input of large values (for example, entering 1.2 EEX 6 yields 1,200,000).

This calculator is also integrated into the textbook "Mastering the Fundamentals of Finance: Building Skills and Intuition," first published in 2021 by Cognella and currently adopted by institutions such as Penn State, Northwestern, and Cal Poly.
